nVidia Ulimate PC Case Design Contest

nVidia started up a new contest of case designs for their new GTX 1080 Ti video card. The goal stated was to create a case that showcased the aluminum angular design of the 1080 Ti card.

Design 01 is a basic concept with the angular design from the 1080Ti's case used on the front and left side. The left side has an etched triangular pattern and nVidia logo etched into the aluminum and glass. The right side panel has the GTX letters placed like a monogram with the 'X' centered, enlarged and 3d dimensionally defined. The 'G' and 'T' are etched into the glass panel with a thinner piece of aluminum piece behind it with the nVidia logo etched and lit by an led behind the 'X'.

Design 2 changed the front to incorporate an 'X' handle to open it and provide access to peripherals. A different geometric design was used on the left side.

Design 3 was to try for a more sweeping design as the left side extended out and to the rear like a teardrop.

Design 03 left side. Couldn't render a correct version in time. V-ray was buggy and added strange shadows (seen in the round base) or reflection anomalies or didn't render correctly (glass feet on this image has odd lighting).
